excactly this should he go out and war a big strong welterweight just to make the fans happy and lose or box his head off whatever weigh possible not long before gavin is the no1 welter in this country.
Felt Gavin tbh got a bit of a lucky break there, pardoning the expression. I had long called for him to cleanly outclass Vassell for as long as this match-up has been talked about. He did not. From the vantage of those expectations this was a letdown. Gavin relied very heavily on ugly spoiling tactics and even there was allowing Vassell to wriggle into the contest on points and possibly grind Frankie down late with increasingly effective pressure. Fair play to come away with it on the night; injuring your opponent is a valid enough method of victory - but this business is unfinished. They ought to rematch and I'd be less confident picking Gavin next time.
You enjoy watching Gavin and Devon fight?. You F uck off. Twat.atsch Maybe you should watch Wrestling as you seem to enjoy it.
ugly spoiling tactics.... Rope a dope?Gavin inflicted damage on Vassell with crisp accurate punching.....his boxing brain speed and skills beat Denton every time and he would beat him more easily next time. And! I still rate Vassell I think he has the skills to progress further himself.
who are you so sure that beats him then, slag him all day long, i look at him as a ww and dont think hes a big puncher but i dont see anybody wanting to fight him, very very very hard to hit and the cleverest boxer on these shores imo.
He is very slippery, very accurate but i hate the holding. Brook is the only other British fighter who could give him a test. Hard to know how Gavin gets on at World Level as there's so many good fighters at 147 and the gap between domestic level and world level is incredible. I would put him in with Leonard Bundu, Euro Champion.
