The winner of this fight becomes the mandatory, if Geale gets past Barker id suspect he will be defending the title in Germany and if they have judges like Eugene Grant who scored their first fight 116-112 for Sturm then Geale may loose the title. In any event i suspect it will be a much closer fight this time round, the Germans always seem to do better in rematches, ala Green vs Beyer II

Geale will be forced to fight the winner come the end of 2013.

Actually - the winner of this bout gets the number 3 position and Sam retains his spot as number 1. Likely he will get the Geale shot next year.

    not so sure..

Results from the IBF Convention suggest otherwise

Sturm won in 4 rounds. He will now wait for Geale vs Barker and challenge the winner as the mandatory.

I don't suppose there is enough money to get sturm out to Australia. That is if Geale beats barker of course

Doubt it. Unless he put the entire 2 mill he made against Mundine on David Mead to be first try scorer on the weekend. Let's hope he beats Barker first. Barker beat Hope more impressively than Proksa did.
