Fury says the Haye fight won't happen if he doesn't receive the bigger %

Like this comment, but sadly I cannot see it happening on channel 5.

 

What are you basing this comment on?

Haye is still relatively young at 32 years of age and has never really been involved in any real wars so to speak of. He could go on for another 4 years at least, if he really wanted it.

 

Whilst I agree that Haye could go on for four years, on current activity levels that would equate to three or four fights.

 

Tyson Fury seems to me he is just trying to 'amicably' have the fight not on due to the fact he doesn't want it by saying I deserve this and that. Now in boxing he could do with a name like David Haye on his resume. Lets be honest Fury knows if Haye beats him he cant shout his mouth off bout being the best.

he is **** scared of not just losing but getting exposed for the ordinary fighter that he is. Fury = Height & Reach and basic good ordinary boxer. Nothing more!

I agree, I see Haye's last fight being in about 5/6 years time and that means about 2/3 fights left.

This is David Haye we are talking about.

 

Fury genuinely thinks he's starting to cement his legacy as an all time great. Truth is he constantly keeps embarassing himself and Britain. FFS the guy has already been beaten IMO against McDermott in '09.

 

The fight has to happen - if it doesnt happen it will be down to the highly inflated ego's of Team Fury.

 

But let's be fair, the first fight was close I agree but I had furry as the winner. He then took on a rematch and smashed him

 

I thought Fury beat him first time round as a 19 year old, then we all know what happened in the rematch.

Though he knows he needs it as he will done and dusted after Haye blasts him out in 6.

 

I like Fury (not so much as a boxer, but certainly as the sort of personality the sport needs) and I defended him after Price, but if Haye doesn't go ahead, well, once is misfortune , twice looks like it's becoming a habit.
