    Ok so say the ref didn't step in Dodson would of taken a couple of steps completely unaware of where he was and smith could if landed 4 more power punches and then the ref would of stopped it. :think

    Dodson was beyond recovering, I can't believe we've even been debating this. :yep

    It was a very abrupt stoppage, because that right hand came from nowhere and then it was over before you knew it - but that doesn't mean it was prematurely ended by the ref. He was if anything right on top of things, and not asleep on the job (which is honestly worse than officials who step in too quickly)

    Death from what hugging? The ref stepped between them, it''s his job.. he stopped Smith, then he should wait 3 seconds see if Dodson come''s back up from that and look at his eyes, make him walk towards him and wipe off the gloves.
