Macklin was in survival mode from the very first punch GGG landed.

he has theoretically been dropped four times in his last three fights.

dibella and Sergio want nothing to do with the wrecking machine of ggg.

this guy could clean up 154 and 160.

If the fighter doesn't want it there is nothing HBO can do. what are they going to do? Insult the guy by translating his broken English? Pac did the same thing. His English wasn't great but he insisted on no interpreter. They are just trying to win over the US fan.

Its a shame everyone ducks GGG like the plague, if Martinez thinks he is the best he should fight GGG. Very hard for him to be undisputed champ when the other title holders (Geale & Martinez) wont fight him, which is a problem with boxing these days. I hope GGG can get up in the IBF, WBC ratings and force a mandatory, the last time he did so was with Geale and Geale handed him the WBA title rather than meet his mandatory obligations and fight GGG.

He said it in a kinda sarcastic way that "you didn't win on the cards but everyone knows you won". If you didn't catch that you're an idiot.

No question. He's capable of beating GGG, but GGG is also capable of beating Martinez.

Martinez gets caught, and often enough to justify whether or not he'd ever think of taking GGG on. He can take on the plodding Chavez, but GGG isn't really a reckless bum who's only line of defense is his chin.

Sergio doesn't last very long if he gets caught by GGG flush, and if that's not enough his age and injuries only sway the matchup in GGG's favor.

Sergio has been knocked down in three of his last fights and theorectically twice in his last fight.

and none of these fighters possess the one-punch ko power in both hands as ggg.

imo, Sergio should be a +300 if this fight were to take place.

I thought Macklin came in nervous and tentative. He looked uncomfortable from the start and I'm not sure if it's because he took a shot early on that let him know what was coming, or, if he bought into the hype. Regardless, I wasn't in there with him and am not qualified to make that call. He says Golovkin is the greatest he's ever fought. I can't wait to see how great that is.
