You have to take into account the questionable win against Ponce De Leon and the fact that Malignaggi is not a legitimate welterweight, should have lost to Cano. Still Broner probably edges GGG because he beat Demarco who was a top 3 LW.
Awww man, i stopped reading after that. You don't get dessert until you finish your crow young man:nono
David Haye - WBA Heavyweight Champion Eddie Chambers - Top Contender Samuel Peter - Future/Former WBC Heavyweight Champion Ruslan Chagaev - (Former?) WBA Heavyweight Champion Sultan Ibragimov - IBF Heavyweight Champion Lamon Brewster - Former WBO Heavyweight Champion (Avenged Loss) Chris Byrd - WBO Heavyweight Champion Ray Mercer - Former WBO Heavyweight Champion Kessler is not in his prime Ill agree but shot? That remains to be seen. I think he came in a little light on the scales and should move up in weight to take on the Bute/Pascal winner. His punches seemed to not have as much effect and the weight seemed to bother him a little in my opinion but he also had trouble with Froch's Jab and Aggression/Pressure and still made it pretty close
What Crow? Personally i think Golovkin could KO Martinez even from a couple of years ago, hes developed shockingly well but Martinez' style could also be difficult for Golovkin. Im sorry im not just jumping on the Bandwagon straight away Macklin has been out of the ring and after being knocked out so viciously after a prolonged beating he may not be exactly the same fighter, he has a lot of ware and tear but i still think hes a top level fighter even now No Disrespect to Golovkin, he just needs another fight or two against world class opposition. Chavez Jr, Quillin, Geale, Murray, Barker . . . any of the top middleweights really and hell if he moved up to 168 and made an impression there then im sold
Still havent forgiven him for the Low blows :bart Only kidding haha, it was a close call to make but seeing as Rigo holds the win over Donaire with so little pro experience i had to give him the edge for now
Jordan, you tried to dilute GGG's win by saying that macklin wasn't at his best and that sergio ruined him. Puh-leeze. Macklin was better now because of the sergio experience and the 1 rd KO of Alcine and Dibella said he's never seen mack so sharp, etc etc. Now that he got blown out he's shot? :-(
So, if he beats every top guy at 160 and then beats a top guy at 168 you'll finally just give him props? Who the **** is doing that in boxing? I don't see 1 guy in boxing who consistently walks right into a guys **** and bowls him over like GGG does. Not 1. they either get a lucky shot(stevenson) or pummel a guy down who's weakened over a long sustained night(ward over dawson) or they pot shot and run (floyd) GOAT fighters stand there ground and beat a man down with ease. That's what GGG does and he will always do it and nobody will stop him until he gets to around lightheavy. WArd would have to hold and maul GGG just to keep from getting KO'd.
id put him on the list due to how easy he is taking out highly ranked fighters... id call him the best middleweight at this point.. would love to see him vs chavez jr
I agree Christo. GGG is clearly one of the ten best boxers on the planet and should be ranked in the top ten P4P. He not only wins, he wins IMPRESSIVELY. He doesn't just pitty-pat to decision wins like many in the top ten do, he DESTROYS his opponents.
I was one of the few people supporting GGG back before he was elevated to the WBA Champion when everyone claimed he was just another hypejob eurobum. I saw how good he was and how good he could be and he has more than exceeded my expectations, so dont misunderstand what im trying to say Im not saying Macklin isnt the same fighter, just questioning whether he was as sharp for this fight as he was with Martinez (Buddy Mcgirt didnt join the camp til 10 days before the fight) even Macklin said afterwords that he had only had that one round after the Martinez lost but still gave credit to Golovkin but fights like the Martinez loss do have an effect especially if you havent filled in many rounds since then Id like to see more of Golovkin, he is one of my favorite fighters and I wouldnt have stayed up until 3 in the morning to watch him fight whilst persevering through that awful Oosthuzien fight Im just waiting to see more of what he has to offer and if there is any weaknesses that can be exploited before jumping in and shouting "GGG is the best thing ever, no one can beat him, no one at all"
No im giving him props now num nuts . . . . im getting sick of having to explain myself. Im saying for his next fight to take on A top middleweight or someone at supermiddleweight who is ranked, not do all that in one go I rank Golovkin very highly, excuse me for not jumping on his dick like most of you just because he took his first step up in terms of world class opposition
Get ****ed you immasculated british punk. you brits have really become annoying in these last few years. you finally get a couple of good fighters and all of the sudden you're boxing experts. GGG slashed your mates tires wanker. Get over it.
