um are you kidding? marvelous is one of the greatest middle weights of all time, ggg isnt even a top 100. how about we let the kid fight a little before we start comparing him to legit legends.

Come on, Hagler is a legend and Golovkin is still starting to make waves.

These are questions for a couple of years from now when GGG has faced (or got ducked by) a good mix of quality opposition.

Hagler had the best chin of all time. He would walk through Golovkin's best and land combos - but GGG has a good chin too, so I would bet on Hagler by decision.

Hagler walked through John "The Beast" Mugabi and won the fight late:

Hagler would expose GGG's weakness and people would think he's overrated the next time around.. :deal

Anyone who voted GGG by T/KO doesn't really know what Hagler is made of.. :smoke

well this is the most ridiculous question I have come across in some time.

as good as GGG is, he is nowhere near Hagler, who would KO GGG.

It is always easy to make a safe statement.Easy to say Hagler would win because he is a prooven and a retired fighter. I not only say Golovkin would win, I say it would be very decisive . Golovkin had 350 amateur fights winning all but 5. He is undefeated as a pro with 27 fights and 24 ko's . In all those fights amateur and pro, he has never been decked. I know Hagler was a heck of a fighter with a great chin etc. but so is Golovkin. I think when making the comparison between these two, Hagler gets over-rated and Golovkin, under-rated. I know it can never be prooven, but my gut and my instincts based on over 60 years of watching middleweights, tells me Golovkin is up there with the best of them. I dont think Golovkin would struggle as much with Duran,Leonard, Hearns and Antuofermo as Hagler did.

imo i voted Hagler But not sure GGG is a newcomer we need to see more Fights from GGG with stronger opponents It is still too early to compare Both fighter. In 3-4 years we can make a decision who is better or stronger
