Don't know whether people see it as a big call but Golovkin stops Froch.

  2. Easy win for GGG

I could honestly see froch reference his "boxing clinic "against AA as to how he would beat a middleweight coming up in weight. Retreating in straight lines using a long jab to dictate wouldn't cut it against Golovkin .

  4. I wouldnt be surprised really

This man is not hype, golovkin ward for me would be much closer

  5. GGG looks a big middleweight, I know they had Macklin down as the same size as him but I think GGG was an inch or two bigger. He looks like he has the frame to move up as well.

**** the people who would whine about him moving up, fighters move up in weight all the time and a lot of the time they win.

This should be a fight we all want cos it has the recipe to be FOTY.

Golovkin-Ward is a terrific fight and not that one sided one that Ward fan boys think it would be. Golovkin has only showed glimpses of what he is capable of technically. In his early days under magomed schaburow at universum he didn't press the fight as much. He used to let them come to him, he has it all, equally adept at fighting on the backfoot..If Ward thinks he would mug him, make it ugly, bulldoze in Golovkin is that good to make him think twice.

Would go for Golovkin. He has a presence in the ring that transcends weight class.

Froch gets KOed by GGG. Froch will never take this fight, maybe rematch with Yusuf Mack or a third fight with semi-retired Kessler but he will never face GGG.

Agree with this.If Kessler was willing, that would be likely,I think. As you said,a fight with Golovkin won't happen, although a Froch win might put him above Joe in many peoples opinions.I also think he would lose to Golovkin, though probably over the distance IMO.

If Froch beat GGG it'd be one of the best wins ever by a British boxer.

The guy is an absolute ****ing machine.

I wasn't really sold until recently but he's executing practically everyone..... the never been stopped Jap Hearns, then Macklin who'd extended both Sturm and Martinez in a pair of really good, close contests as if he was a rank novice.

Thing forget was that Golovkin was a brilliant amateur. It's not like he is some sort of banger with no boxing ability.

The way he closes the ring down and just moves forward in a relentless fashion is staggering.

  12. Yeah I'm not on the hype train with matthysse or kovalev but golovkin is special

I'm sure of it,really ****ing special

He would be so good for the sport if he made it to the top of the p4p pile
As he a positive role model who is exciting and a devestating puncher who anyone can appreciate

    Couldn't agree more.

When you consider the effort going into making Broner a superstar you can't help but wish the same sort of effort goes into GGG. I appreciate Broner is American but GGG is special.

I have a certified man crush on GGG.

  14. Yeah agreed if golovkin was American he would be a superstar already
