I think Froch still seems to suffer from self-doubt, and I think Golovkin has the aura to force Froch away from his naturally aggressive game and force Froch into speculative raids that could lead to a GGG KO. Froch has been bothered many times before, wobbled and floored, and by nobody as concussive as Gennady.

Quillin said a couple of days ago he wanted the winner of Golovkin vs Macklin. Unfortunately, Golovkin's people say a fight between Golovkin and Quillin can only happen if its on HBO. So unless HBO lifts its GBP, that fight won't be happening.

Got nothing to do with GGG or Quillin. HBO will want to have the fight on their channel and Showtime on theirs. The networks that pay the fighters will decide whether the fight can be made or not, they have the bargaining power in this fight.

The only chance this fight gets made would be if both fighters promoters find a date neither is tied up on their respective channel, which is very unlikely since most of the money comes from the networks.

    Bothered many times before?

Froch has consistently fought the top guys out there, hasn't ducked anybody & I've never really seen him in any great deal of trouble?

Kessler has scored KO's up at LHW, however Froch's chin stood up to some huge bombs from him over the course of 24 rounds.

The only time he's been put over was by Taylor, of which Froch wasn't really hurt by it at all. He took the count, got up and was fine.

Man Froch will slice GGG's face up. GGG is to small to compete with Froch and Ward. GGG is way overrated on this forum by the Wlad nutlickers. GGG = Brute and will be exposed once he steps up.

I'd love to see this fight but would prefer GGG to clean out middleweight first or at least beat Martinez.

Would be a difficult fight for GGG. Froch has an iron chin and we saw what happened to Abraham who was seen as another murderous punching middleweight when he moved up. The extra 8lbs makes a difference, Golovkin may find his vaunted power fails him against bigger men.

Some of the comments on here just makes you despair. One clown uses the word Froch and Duck in the same sentence. Then another clown says Froch suffers from self doubt, Carl
    Froch suffering from self doubt?!!?
It makes you want to weep.

yeah, you're right. Froch is always ducking fights like a coward. that's my biggest problem with him. he never fights the best. :-(

he should stay if the fights are there. but if not, he should move up.

he can always move down again.

if it does happen, Froch will beat him. he'll have the right tactics. he won't be running on the back foot that's for sure.

it's not that Ward is too big, it's that Ward will throw feints and then slip in to hold and maul GGG to death with headbutts thrown in for good measure.

it will make the Kessler fight look clean. GGG should be very weary of the Ward set up.

You might be right, however AA is not a good comparison, other than power/chin. AA is an extremely basic boxer with no instincts, GGG is the opposite
