    Leaves Hearn for ******, ironically gets a nobody Argentinian to fight, that fight is now in doubt, the Argie was knocked out last night :patsch

    having a **** keep busy type fight as soon as moving promoter isnt exclusive to W*rren though is it. Look at Quiggs opponent.

    It wouldn't even have been so funny if the guy hadn't been bowled over last night, and let's face it, with good old Frank, Carl can look forward to fighting padded record guys while being promised a "big fight" for the next 3 years, cleverly style

    I as looking at the guy on boxrec the other day, and saw he was scheduled for a fight last night thinking "erm..what if he loses that one?" and sure enough...

    he'd have been better off just doing hard sparring rather than being matched with a guy he was sure to KO in a few minutes anyway

    Boxrec have Carl at number 3 superbantam, RING have him at number 3 superbantam, after 16 fights and some good wins the future was looking very bright, until Barry McGuigan goes and removes all doubt as to what a prize ****ing moron he is and signs with Frank, because apparently Hearn, after GETTING CARL TO THE TOP OF THE RANKINGS AFTER 16 FIGHTS, wasn't looking out for Carls best interests and wasn't making him enough of a priority, let's see where Mitchell Smith is ranked after 16 fights

    True, but they had more time to get a better fight for him and Frampton hasn't been out of the ring as long as quigg has

    Quigg was just the most recent example, most fighters i can think of that have switched to Eddie have had a pointless fight first on one of his undercards.

    I think Hearn feels the need to 'expose' them to Sky viewers. Is he really that arrogant that he thinks if theyve not been on Sky we havent watched them fight or know who they are?

    Mind you the type of 'fan' he seems to want, thats probably true of.

    no as soon as he's in a position Hearn will throw him into a tough world title fight away from home (rees, purdy, barker etc style) that he'll likely lose and have to rebuild from.

    Both ****** and Hearn (and the way they do things) have their positve and negative points. The sooner people realise Eddie aint the saviour and ****** aint the devil the better.

    seriously though career wise how much better off do you think Frampton is going to be under Wrren? I don't think Eddie is the be all end all don't get me wrong, but that was perhaps the worst ever time in your career to move to Frankie boy

    Good! whats wrong with having a tough world title fight when you are a so called tough world level operator? better than fighting the Shawn Hawks and Tommy Karpencys of the world in your prime

    I don't think Eddie is the saviour at all, I'm not Rob, but ****** ain't too far from being the devil

    it was poor timing i agree, i just dont go for all this w*rrens **** and eddies a god business, in my view they are both promoters (like football agents cant be trusted) and they both have good and bad points.

    You say Hearn got Frampton to the top of the rankings? While I would agree that Hearn did a good job with Frampton he didn't get Frampton there alone. It was McGuigan who promoted Frampton at the beginning of his carear when he was fighting on Setanta and in small hall venues around the UK.

    Again I would agree that his next opponent won't be of great standard but do you really think his opponent on the Luke Campbell undercard was going to be a lot better, did you see the flab on Quiggs opponent on Saturday night?

    Frampton and McGuigan have a short term deal for 4 fights on BoxNation, that's it.

    People too quick to jump on the backs of fighters while spouting complete nonsense.

    A new opponent will have to be found now for the 20th. :roll:

    If anyone needs a reminder of how unpredictable boxing can be some times...
    Quigg and Frampton have both experienced spells of bad luck as is the nature of the business.
