    Yeah, they are pretty awesome.

Tip on putting them on - undo the laces. I know it will take longer to tie em up, but you'll get a better feel when you lace em up. I had the same problem first time i got em

Yea, I soon realized that the normal loosening up of the laces you would do with almost all boxing shoes didn't work with them. I have to almost completely unlace those things if I don't want to struggle for 5 minutes trying to get my foot in it.

I don't think the struggle to put the shoes on is enough to overlook their benefit. They are a little heavy but the sole support is great and they feel much better than most boxing shoes I've had. Especially if you have issues with your achilles/calf/shins etc, they feel almost like running shoes.

so basically the rjj shoes advantages are the support and style and the disadvantages are thier heavy and hard to get on? Do they allow you to get a feel on the ground, i mean if your a fighter that likes to love off his toes will they allow you to do that or are they too stiff?

Well, I would say that the extra sole support makes you less in tune with feeling the canvas. I personally think that running shoes feel better in the ring than boxing shoes but the problem is that the running shoes don't fit as well. The soles on running shoes feel smooth and cause less tire on your calves and achilles but they are bulkier and a little harder to be fleet with. The RJ shoes are kind of the solution to that, boxing shoe design with sort a sneaker feel.
