TBH Anthony was lined up to face Burns a while back. I'd prefer honestly for Eddie to get Burns a unification but i honestly believe the Gonzalez fight has worried Eddie.

Anthony just beat the Ring Magazine number 6 and a guy who never lost the European title in the ring. Rees is a good operator and i feel Crolla is just as if not more deserving then likes of Evensen, Layrea, Cook or Mitchell. But it doesn't mean it's right i'd like to see Anthony fight another guy in top 10 and get a win.

Burns has a tough fight with Beltran. He's improved and seems like he's taking his career seriously now. I don't like the level of disrespect shown to Crolla from misspelling his name to dismissing him constantly. **** poor IMHO.

Lets face it Ricky got his world title shot at Martinez after looking distinctly average against O'Hara and Al Hamidi. Lets not get on our high horse about deserving it.

When did it matter if a fighter deserves a world title shot or not?

Id rather see Burns/Crolla than Burns against an absoloute nobody.

Hearn is starting to turn into the rain man. Promises what people want to hear and then tries to make legitimate excuses for why it doesnt happen. Burns should be fighting Abril or Vasquez, even if the styles might not gel he should get burns unifying the titles. He has the skill, engine and jab to do it.

Does Billy run his mouth abit to much sometimes? Yes
Is he a good trainer? yes
Would I pay to see a press conference where joe and billy had fighters fighting against each other? yes.

 

Why should the Champ travel unless its better ££££££ for him but I don't think it will happen Eddie doesn't need to push for Crolla unless he signs him

 

Eddie will sign Crolla defo......he's a promoters dream.

 

If rees retires then yes but if not hearn will have too many lightweights.

 

I personally think Rees will retire and be replaced by Crolla in his stable. Crolla out of contract with Hatton too.

 

I think Rees will fight Mitchell on Eddies big london show in september and if he loses that he will pack it in.

 

Burns is far too good for Crolla. Both really nice guy's, but unfortunantely for Crolla thats the only level they're even on.
