He passed away due to complication from cancer. He was one of my first childhood heroes. Will never forget his famous movie quotes from Enter The Dragon, RIP Mr. Kelly.

To be honest I never really forgot about him but he was so humble, that a lot of his accomplishments were never really publisized, and you didn't hear much about him beyond Enter The Dragon. He had a short stint doing movies they called Blacksploitation in the 70's, but he lived a rather low key lifestyle, which was the complete opposite from his character in Enter the Dragon. One thing I found interesting is he studied under the Gracies in Brazilian Ju-jitsu, and stated in an interview that although his roots were in tradition Karate, he later on got convinced that grappling was necessary for an all around fighter.
