    Jeez John, looks like there is someone on here older than me. I saw SRR in the flesh in 1951 when he was over in the UK to fight Randy Turpin, but as I was only 4 and my old man took me to the open sparring session, I remember little or nothing about it.

    While I know this is all time favorites, I find that the time period I grew up with to be my favorite. due to overall familiarity.

    Same here, Ali being the exception. I remember watching RJJ fight for the first time and only one thing crept up in my mind and that was WOW. Never seen a boxer do the moves he's done at the weight he came in.
