Crolla to get shot at Burns.........people criticising it

What style does Crolla have to beat Burns?? That's he's slower? Has a shorter reach? Doesn't throw as many punches? Doesn't have as good of a chin? Less head movement?? Less combinations?? Crolla doesn't deserve a shot at Burns and if he gets one he'll lose. Derry got the better of him twice (once officially) and Derry doesn't deserve a shot either...

The drink clearly affecting your judgement if you think Anthony is all wrong or can cause problems for Ricky but I can tell you Ricky will be to quick,busy,punches much harder,faster feet,far better jab and ultimately is the far superior boxer

 

He's still top 4 of Ricky's World Title opponents for me. Better than Cook, better than Evenson, better or on the same level as Mitchell, better than Laryea, and probably better than the ghost of Moses that came over. Not saying Crolla will win, but he's still more deserving than some of the others listed above, if its so easy just beat him and move onto the next.

 

Level par with Everson,cook is obviously a better fighter he won British,commonwealth and Euro and world titles,Moses would stop Crolla he punches far to hard for Anthony and and former world champ,no have no doubt whatsoever we'd beat Anthony and by a stoppage just to good,that's not belittling Ant it just the truth

 

Cook was a better fighter IN HIS PRIME, if you're suggesting that was the same Nicky Cook that Ricky fought I'll lose all respect for you mate, he was shot to high heaven and it was relatively well publicised even before the fight that his back was gone. Again with Moses, he was past peak, he wasn't the Moses of old, I don't think he was the same after the Acosta KO, and if you put Crolla in with him next I'd have Crolla as a big favourite.

I don't see Crolla being on par with Evenson either myself pal, I think he'd handle Evenson easy in fact (not as well as Ricky, but easy nonetheless), he's simply too small. Laryea was a joke fight (lost 3 back to back after the Ricky fight), but you didn't even try and defend that one so we won't flog a dead horse so to speak.

He's realistically probably on par with someone like Mitchell, but we won't find that out until the fight happens. I thought he handled Rees well enough, but his struggles with Mathews make you think he shouldn't stand a chance with Ricky, however you never know stranger things have happened. I actually picked Rees to win on Saturday so don't misconstrue this as me picking Crolla to win the fight, but I don't think you and Ricky would receive half the backlash you have for previous defences if the Crolla fight gets made.

Anyway don't you have Raymundo to worry about first mate?
