    Trout's skills let himself down in the Canelo fight because he does not step into , lean forward, and use his legs to throw his jab. If he can fix that ; he would be harder to beat.

    Trout wouldn't care for missing so much or getting countered all night. His work rate would drop just like it did vs Alvarez. Trout is a great fighter but Mayweather is all wrong for him. Alvarez has a much better chance.

    ...even in his career's twilight, and Trout enjoying his prime.
