Only fools and indeed Yanks would believe that Lewis couldn't have comfortably beaten every American heavyweight who ever lived. Either by giving them a boxing lesson, or indeed again by KO if the opportunity arose. As for the OP he is probably entitled to bait the Yanks who plainly have a tendency to nationalistic revisionist garbage ( Lewis was not KO'd by McCall, it was a TKO ) so he is merely giving them a taste of their own medicine.
Lewis gets a lot of stick for his 2 losses but he came back and avenged them, he also gets a lot of stick for ducking certain fighters, Lennox beat Riddick Bowe as an amateur and Riddick Bowe ducked Lennox as a pro, he probably would have gotten more respect from the US if he had fought and beaten Bowe but it wasn't his fault Bowe didn't want any of him.
Not just every yank HW boxer....simply every yank period could be ko'd by the goat And they hate that fact.... And I love the fact that they hate that fact.
Tell that to Hashim rockman and Oliver McCall. I was never impressed with Lennox and agree with Teddy Atlas, he was never a great fighter just very good. He got beat by boxers he shouldn't have, has among the fewest fights of any very good heavyweight in recent memory. He let c-rate boxers linger around when he should have finished them off. I do give him the k2 fighhts, he'd beat either one of them 10/10
Do Europeans know how stupid they sound to us when they label every American a "yank?" Anyway, Lennox Lewis is my second favorite fighter behind Roy Jones, and even I admit there are many American fighters he at least would not have knocked out.
Could have knocked everyone out if he wanted to....but he was that good he didn't need to....u know its true and your hurting
