Thompson is way to slow for haye , and he dosnt have the one punch power to cause any concern. It would be a wide UD or an early tko .. haye will soon be world champ again ..
Thompson should fight the winner of Haye/Fury, and winner of that fight deserves a championship fight.
Thompson may have more power but Haye is better in every other department (Handspeed, Footwork, Chin, Stamina).
Thomson at least tried to beat Wlad and went out on his shield TWICE. Haye elected to run, flop, pose, back peddle and not engage after 2 years of trash talk :roflatsch How does he still have fans? Are you Brits that desperate these days? :rofl
You're right about Thompson being slow but you are wrong about his power. He has stopped the past eight opponents (not including Wlad). TT would have a punchers chance against Haye. I'm actually not sure who wins that fight, I guess you need to favor Haye because of his power, speed, and youth. TT is definitely the better boxer of the two. Interesting matchup.
Haye has a very weak chin, bad balance, lunges, etc., I would pick Thompson by knockout......................Haye was knocked out by a cruiserweight, at least Thompson fought back against Vlad, but Haye refused to fight, he ran, held, fell down on the canvas, held on to Vlad's legs, etc., made a fool out of himself.
Haye did not make fool out of himself, real boxing fans knew what he was all about because we saw him against Valuev earlier. David Haye made fool out of British and his racisticshock boxing fans in america.
Haye's resume is weak??? Monte Barrett - former world title challenger John Ruiz - former 2 time world champion Nickolai Valuev - reigning world champion (when haye fought him) Wladimir Klitschko - ring magazine heavyweight champion Derek Chisora - former world title challenger & current contender
My point exactly. David is a great fighter and he's probably going to become a world champion at some point again. Hopefully the Tyson fight will happen and people will see that David belong at the top.
Monte Barratt - was convincingly destroyed every time he fought for a title. John Ruiz - was shot and was beaten on two occasions by former middle weights in his prime. Nicolai Valuev - had just robbed a 46 year old Holyfield in the fight before and that fight with Haye could have went either way. Wladimir Klitschko - Why are you giving him any credit for this? he lost convincingly and fought as negatively as Sultan Ibragimov. Dereck Chisora - By far his best win, against a guy who was already convincingly beaten by Fury and Vitali. That's his resume when you look at it in reality.
World world world..this what your media tells you to make it sound better. More like WBA title holders not World Champs. His resume is ****ing **** no other way to out it...WORLD
