i remember thinking the 1st fight was a good tester for price on where he's at. didn't see it as an easy night. although i did think he'd win. atsch
Everyone is a expert after the fact! 95% of fans thought it was easy pickings against a 41 year old flabby fighter. I thought Price would slowly break him down and end it mid to late rounds, obviously I was wrong, but so are a lot of others who are too proud to admit!

what is really bull **** is the idea that in the first fight Price got caught with a lucky shot and that's why he lost. now we know he simply isn't at the level of Thompson yet. Price really wasn't ready to go above British level since he had not beaten the best Britian had to offer Chisroa or Fury.
Price had never been in the ring past 7 rounds and certainly hadnt been in with anyone as good as Thompson. Too early for the match up, a lot of people thought it would be like Fury/Johnson, couldnt have been further from the truth! Ive said on here neither him nor Price should face the Klits soon ( it was a year ago i said this so now i reckon in the next year), in Furys case if at all as he is young enough to develop against varying fighters but by the time he reaches 'peak' the Klits may have retired. Now obviosuly Wlad will be around in a year and Fury needs that at least to have a chance of winning. Stop rushing prospects, despite what they claim.
