Could a super 6 tournament in the HW division happen? I'd like to think it could, however we may have to wait for the Klitschkos to retire before it does.

Who would you have in it?

Whom do you have in mind?

Bear in mind there are certain promotional bugaboos preventing some match-ups.

No way. Too much posturing, too much at stake for promoters to risk having their guy become damaged goods, etc.

The World Boxing Classic Super Six ought to have been a trend-setter, and instead becomes a cautionary tale. :-(

What would be the point of it? It wouldn't be respected if Wlad wasn't in it and if Wlad took part he would win it. I don't see much point in short-listing the names until Wlad retires.

its better to organize a faster 4 man tournaments in every organization to find
the next mandatory challengers ... it was done bebore (e.g. Povetkin, Brock,
Byrd, Chambers) and it was successful, I would like to see:

WBC: Haye vs Stiverne vs Mitchel vs Fury
WBA: Chagaev vs Wilder vs Arreola vs Abdusalamov
IBF: Adamek vs Pulev vs Jennings vs Glazkov
WBO: Boytsov vs Helenius vs Banks vs Ortiz

of course since brothers are often switching their opponents then I guess it
would be fair that one of the WBA/IBF/WBO mandatory get shot at WBC belt

:think Interesting, you may be on to some thing. This would really shoot a boost in to the sport's marketability, and make things interesting.

IMO the last Super 6 kind of failed. With the bad decisions, guys dropping out, hometown issue....

    No need to repeat.

    I laughed at this guy.

"Why Wilder?" and then he lists Mitchell.

Not another super six.the last didn't work.look at the winner of s- middle,he should be a household name with opponents queuing up. That's not the case

Mitchell is five times the fighter Wilder is and is ranked no 2 by the WBC and no 4 by the WBA.

Wilder on the other hand is the most over-hyped boxer in boxing.

    Mitchell is garbage lol

Scott and Jennings are the best US HW prospects without a doubt
