Canelo will wish he can take punches to give some. I think he will for a few rounds. He will hit Floyd for sure. Will also hit a lot of air. We will see a lot of turning once Floyd is in the ropes like the Guerrero fight. After the 6 or 7. Canelo will only have one thing left in him and its going to be 2 flurries of punch per rounds. Floyd will win all the rounds from that point on. He will have the timing and everything figured out. PLUS he had to ****ing drain the kid
The single most important difference will be conditioning, Alvarez will run out of gas, Floyd is a fanatic when it comes to training.
Everyone says canelo will be tired like he was against trout...here's the reasons you are wrong. 1. Trout (a big big jr middle) threw nearly 800 punches at canelo. Mayweather a much smaller man who is feather fisted only threw 469 against gurerrero. He'll throw less against the bigger, quicker, more explosive canelo. 2. Canelo admits to training for size and strength and not speed and endurance for trout because austin was so big. He did lots of weight training. 3.The last time he trained for speed and stamina (Lopez) we weighed in at 164, was very quick, and threw combos the whole entire fight. He'll be in much better condition for mayweather than lopez. Dont bank on stamina issues kids....
Floyd is not had to be out-landed, Canelo needs to find a way for his punches to look more effective.
I would lifetime esb ban bet anyone here that canelo is not going to outland Floyd. imo, the over/under would be somewhere around 80.
Cotto hit pbf, Canelito will do the same.Floyd might eat a straight right he won't see coming, and do the trout like a fish out of its element.
consuelo doesn't fight for more than a minute each round. he ain't beating floyd with that work rate. speed advantage...floyd reflexes....floyd skills....floyd experience....floyd rick astley ain't gonna touch floyd.
Of course bet evryone and their grandma when ita you that has the advantage. If we would of ban bet on trout canelo you'd be outta here by now.
the saving grace is that opie cunningham losing to floyd is not something that will ruin his career. he has the whole ginger/mexican thing working for him. he's not going to take a severe beating from floyd so he'll be back. floyd will retire soon....they can keep serving consuelo old/faded/undersized opposition and the fans will eat that **** up because this kid is like the virgin guadalupe to mexicanos.
The same guy that lost to trout busted Floyd up and made him swing at air more than were used to seeing. If canelo was able to buckle and drop a 170 plus jmw with floyds signature punch while making him miss 300 punches I hate to fathom what he will do to Floyd on Sept 14. And the new.....
If you're not quicker and faster, you have to outmuscle. I said those things going into the Marquez and Guerrero fights vs Mayweather. Marquez and Guerrero both ex-featherweights we knew could not outmuscle Mayweather. In Canelo you have someone who can. Someone who's not slow, in fact faster than Cotto, and who at this very moment is a natural 154 pounder who will outweight Mayweather by quite a few pounds on the night. At least in Canelo he has the physical tools in which to operate and attempt to cause Mayweather real trouble. Physical tools in which Marquez and Guerrero did not have as welterweights. Again for you Mayweather fans. I'm not picking against Mayweather. I just want to see him in the ring against a fighter that has some advantages on his side as opposed to the fighters he's fought recently that are either way on the downside or dont have any physical advantages to their favor as they're not proven at the weight. That simple!
I will be impress if canelo can use the only advantage he got on floyd. STRENGH. The only reason im pump for this fight is because i dont think floyd can hurt canelo...actualy he mite break his hands on canelos face.
Fair enough. But one thing. In my opinion, if the This content is protected advantage a fighter has over the other is his size, and therefore strength, then that really isn't very exciting is it? Is there anyone out there who believes that if these two fighters were of equal size, that it would even be close? And I'm not talking about 2 or three 3 pounds off, we're talking somewhere around 17-20.
