For someone who uses the word "duck" so much I don't understand why you blame Mayweather for those fights not happening. Yeah he could've fought them. He tried.

Yeah but I guess that wasn't a "duck" as described by a biased child.

So, now we are bringing up mitigating circumstances? Fine.

First of all, Pac is not naturally smaller. That is a myth. And even if true it does not make his victories more emphatic. For example, I found Mayweather's victory over Hatton far better than Pac's. It was thee first time Hatton was KOed, his first loss, and done while Hatton was with his long term trainer. However, this is my OPINION. I'm sure there are others.

Secondly, if we are talking about dubious decisions that Pac has suffered, why not talk about the ones he's benefitted from? Many feel he lost the 3rd Marquez fight.

Thirdly, Pac fought opponents coming off losses and poor performances, while Mayweather fought opponents coming off great wins. Mosley and Guerro fall into this category for Mayweather. Come to think of it, so does Canelo. Rios, like many of Pac's past opponents, is coming off of aloss.

Finally, Pac's defeat by Marquez in their 5th fight is a big minus for Pac's legacy. Hew was knocked down two times, with the last knockdown being one of the most humiliating KO's to ever occur between two elite fighters. This alone, along with the two other times he has been KOed, puts Pac far below Mayweather in terms of greatness.

I bet that Whitaker, De la Hoya, Armstrong and others could face Floyd's resume with better results.

Are there any former flyweights who could beat MAB, Morales, and JMM at 126 and 130? Then went on to beat bigger guys like Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto

If these naturally bigger guys managed to drain themselves to flyweight itwon't be a stretch that they would. Especially if they were 17 years old with only 12 fights.

Well then I guess you can't have it both ways. Yes it's an achievement that he moved up all those divisions but he has significant losses as well. Moving up isn't the be all, end all. Especially considering that he did fukk all after beating Cotto except milk it. If moving up is everything then he should be rated higher than Whitaker. He isn't.

It does not matter what happened in the 5th fight . I don't understand what's your point . Because ALL great fighters get knocked out , how is that humiliating ?? Duran could not even last 2 whole rounds with Hearns and was taken out by 1 punch . Yet he is praised and no one says he was humiliated by Hearns . But when Manny gets knocked out , it's humiliating .

You don't seem to mention how in the 5th fight before the KO , Manny was getting the best of Marquez , although it was still competitive and he was not simply walking threw Marquez by no means . He was a bloody mess and looked the worse he's ever has looked in any fight in his his whole career . Marquez caught him with the perfect punch and knocked him out cold . There's no shame in that .

Sugar Ray Leonard got knocked out by Camacho does that put him far below Mayweather in terms of greatness ?? I'm having a hard time understanding this logic...

Huge difference between getting knocked out by a bigger, prime Hearns and getting KO'ed by a near 40 former lightweight.

lets see how they finish out their careers. floyd has looked great against guys pac would probably ruin, except marquez. canelo is the first fighter to face floyd, that i would not favor pac to destroy.

    :deal

I like how all of a sudden getting KO'd by Hearns is the same as getting face-planted by Marquez.
