I'm maybe in the minority but I think Hatton had a good chin, especially in his prime years he took some murderous shots and shrugged it off. His problem is his leaky defense and the inability to recover.

He got hit too much vs Floyd. Against Pac he made the mistake of trying to walk Pac down, got caught early and was unable to recover.

Hatton had a good chin and Chisora has a good chin.

I also think Lennox had a good chin.

Hatton had a very good chin in his prime. the proof is on tape.

the reason Mayweather stopped him wasn't due to Hatton's chin, it was down to Cortez not letting him fight properly. frustration and lack of focus comes into play. he was going forward without thought or concentration to his work.

when you fight (it's like this in all sports) you need to get into that zone. it builds the feel good chemicals in the brain and you adjust to the task at hand. it makes you a much stronger unit. without it, you're in no mans land. that's what happened to Ricky.

i don't give an ounce of credit to Floyd for the "win". it wasn't a fair playing field.

then you have to throw in his outside the ring habits with all the going up in weight. he never behaved like an athlete should.

many problems happened in the Pac fight...

Mayweather SR, who may i add should never have been his trainer in the first place, only turned up an hour before the fight. he did this many times during training camp. never turning up in time and messing him about.
Ricky lost focus in the dressing room and refused to listen to Floyd. he would only listen to Lee Beard.
    over training as well.

Ricky just went forward in a stubborn way.

SR is overrated to hell, he's a one trick pony. the way he was teaching Ricky was shocking. it went against his natural style and served absolutely no purpose.
he needed to polish him up, get him to shorten his punches, keep his chin down, and have his hands up. Floyd did none of this. he trained him the same way he trains JR. ****ing stupid.

this all adds to having bad performances.

Pac was punching harder than i've ever seen him do before, but Ricky shouldn't have gone out like that.
