What is it with british fighters and glass chins?

Jesus Christ. Paddies talking about false nationality claims. I've heard it all.

 

Hugton had descent beard? I remember the shoe lace incident with Loscano. But a puncher

makes anybodies chin like glass. He had a sturdier chin than Amere Con. But not by much,

IMO.

but if it makes you feel all sensitive like a woman, then i can assure you we don't need to claim him at all. plenty of Brit fighters for us to support. can't say the same for you with the Irish.

We dont claim others to be Irish, it's others themselves that claim their Irish heritage. Brits will claim anyone who sets foot in the country... as long as they're good at something.

 

As I said in the other post, Irish dont claim others to be Irish, its others who claim their Irish heritage.

We support our boxers no matter how good or bad. Well Wayne McCullogh has been mentioned in lists of top British boxers, as has Barry McGuigan even though he's from the south.

And do you think Northern Ireland is part of Britain? And have you ever heard of The Good Friday Agreement? People from the North are able to choose their nationality so not all of them would consider themselves from the UK. Plus I'd say theres a higher percentage of people with Irish passports seeing as there is a higer percentage of Catholics (not that it matters).

 

For the same reason you lot try to claim Ola Afolabi and are bitter as all hell when fighters like Macklin and Furey claim to be Irish perhaps??

And it's true, British boxers tend to have very suspect chins when compared to other nations.

i'd say most call them selves part of the UK with the minority saying otherwise. but that's getting a little too political.

if an English born fighter claims to be Irish due to family, then you go ahead and call them Irish. i've seen you do it before with Macklin and Fury. we don't try and claim Irish fighters from the South (well i haven't anyway. and i've not seen anyone do it either) like you do with English fighters.

both Fury and Macklin are English. nothing will change that fact. it's not about being bitter, it's about claiming the truth.

no they don't. all nations have fighters with dodgy chins. all nations have fighters with great chins.

 

I reckon Chris Eubank had possibly one of the top 10 pound for pound chins of all time...he won a lot of fights from having such a solid chin alone...
