Im going to have to take a sabbatical from the forums till after this fight the Tyson Fury hypetrain is racing out of control even respected posters believing that this will be anything other than a Haye KO.

Tyson is a funny guy and good for the division but he won't beat Haye in a month of Sundays.

And so do the bookmakers. Haye as short as 1/2 to win by KO and I've seen Haye 1/6 to win by any method with one. average odds for a Haye win is around 1/4.

I do not think you can have a pop at casual fans for thinking Haye will smash Fury.

Fury will not get blown away. This fight isn't going to easy for him, those that think Haye is going to KO Fury when he wants will be sadly mistaken. Haye is obviously favorite here, but let's not forget Fury is a hungry young fighter and has the attributes to cause Haye some issues.

Fury is a live dog. This isn't Audley Harrison we're talking about.

This is what I don't get from all the Fury haters....

    Harrison took him 3 rounds
Monte Barrett took him 5 rounds
Dereck Chisora took him 5 rounds

why do people think Fury will only last a round or two is staggering. Fury is better then all these fighters and he can bang himself, if Haye throw's caution to the wind to try and get him out of there early he could find himself on the floor.

    Harrison was carried.
Barrett was his first HW fight.
    Chisora has a decent chin.

Fury has a glass jaw, no defence and a history of being badly hurt EARLY by non-punchers. He gets put down / wobbled by guys who would struggle to hurt Audley.

I think Fury will be told to come forward behind his jab, which he IS capable of using with power. This coupled with the reach disparity could make it difficult for David.I think Fury is quicker than given credit for, certainly more so than Valuev.Only found out recently that Cunningham stopped Huck,so don't believe that he can't punch as some say.Povetkin couldn't do it.No,at the risk of being a casual, its still 50 50 for me.And if the odds are decent, might have a bet on Fury.

    Debatable.
    False.
    It's not bad.

And yet Haye has never beaten anybody as good as Tyson Fury. Who's haye's best win, old past it Mormeck? Ha, Fury would have blown away that same version of Mormeck without being put down himself in the process.

Doubtful. Mormeck is a much bigger puncher than Firtha, Cunningham or Pajkic, and Fury's inability to avoid getting tagged is undeniable.

What makes you think Mormeck especially at the time was a bigger puncher than current Cunningham?

That he actually knocked people out with reasonable frequency.

Barrett was Hayes first heavyweight fight.
Haye had told his family to bet on round 3 for Audley, hence why he stood and waited till that round. He said as much prior to the fight then got in a bit of trouble for it so had to reshape comments afterwards.

I haven't seen anything from Fury to really scare Haye other than size,it won't be a blow out though,6 rounds at least

For me Haye doesn't believe this will go past 6 rounds, that could be his downfall though I'm sure Booth will prepare him for the scenario
