This thread takes me back to the days when Kellly Pavlick was the next big thing. Remember? He was KOing guys. Becoming an Atlantic city favorite. He was supposed to rule the middleweight division for years! LOL. Some people even talked about a fight with him and Mayweather(seriously).

Then Pavlick ran into a master boxer in the form of Benard Hopkins. We haven't heard of Pavlick since.

Give GGG some time. Let him fight Ward, master boxer and a fan of Mayweather, before we talk about Mayweather fighting him.

Pavlik was an alcoholic that looked like he died last week at every weight in. Hardly any similarity to GGG.

Hindsight is 20/20. At that time he was the next big thing. Take note, if GGG loses against a master boxer, as I beleive he will, there will be excuses for his losing.

BTW, Pavlick fought Bernard Hopkins at 170. Was he a skeleton at that weight as well? Or did the bigger man bully him? Pick your excuse.

Finally, Pernell Whiticker was a cocaine addict, yet he still accomplished quite a bit in his career. Please stop the excuses.
