What's enzo got to do with it. As much as I respect enzo he ain't got the heart of fury or the hunger
It'll look like another Haye v Audley. Fury has virtually no defense, Haye's right cross will land every time and I'm betting it ends with the same sort of shot he rocked Valuev with.
I can't believe how under rated Fury is.. Or maybe it's just the fact that Haye is so over rated... I agree Haye is a slight favourite but the model is there to beat Haye from the Klitscho fight.. Fury Glass jaw he's undefeated you complete nugget has got up every time he has been down.. Bottom line if Haye connects Fury may get up.. If Fury connects Haye is gone really is that simple and that's why Fury has a chance.. I will be putting a big bet on Fury KO
Haha did mike Tyson ever fight a smaller man than himself? He was always punching upwards except when he hit hem on the way down And haye is a fair bit taller than Tyson too You have to dominate haye behind a stiff, educated jab and keep him honest with pressure and the fear of what will come back I don't particularly think fury has any of those attributes He will find haye hard to hit and I can see him doing a bambi on ice when haye lands a quick lead overhand right I think Tyson is a great lad but he's in trouble here His big chance is to take haye late and hope he gasses but he will have to work him hard through those early rounds too
The one edge that Tyson has in this fight is his engine and workrate. Haye's stamina is incredibly questionable. Chisora was on the verge of taking him into deep water and lost his head. Like i said earrlier, if Fury can be disciplined and keep his hands up he can have Haye in all kinds of trouble through workrate alone. Cunningham thought he would do to Fury what Haye did to Valuev, stick and move and nick the rounds. But one thing Fury does bring is a fight for every minute of every round. Cunningham couldn't cope with it and it's the one thing that Haye really struggles with. I favour Haye to win. I've always been a big Fury fan for various reasons so I don't like saying that. But to suggest there's no possibility that Fury can take him into the trenches is ridiculous. In fact this could be the Thompson fight all over again. What happens if (and i agree it's a big if) Haye throws the kitchen sink in and has Fury on the cusp of being out but doesn't quite manage it early on. That's what makes this fight intriguing for me. this isn't like the Audley fight where anyone who had watched either knew Audley would freeze and go down as soon as Haye opened up. This is much closer to the Thompson fight IMO.
If Fury has the tools to defeat and spectacularly KO 6'3, 210 lb, 35 year old 2 time Cruiserweight World Champion Cunningham ... [who had never been stopped before] ... Does he have the tools to defeat and spectacularly KO 6'3, 210 lb, 33 year old 2 time Cruiserweight World Champion Haye [who HAS been stopped before] :huh
Interesting fight. Haye can beat Fury. If Fury can keep Haye away on the end of the jab he might well have a good chance of taking him out. Haye is a good mover and Wlad couldn't deal with his movement to find a way of taking him out. Tyson may have the better inside game. I expect Haye will nullify this though by using the same tactics as he did against Wlad and dropping to floor. I expect Fury will get frustrated as the fight goes on and become more open to Haye's potshots. I wouldn't be surprised if this fight gets "postponed" due to a Haye injury. I can see a lot of mind games in the build up by the Hayemaker camp aimed at unsettling Fury. As for Haye's stamina, he moved around for 12 rounds against Wlad despite the broken toe. Is his stamina really an issue? I would like to see Fury win this as I am fed up with Haye and his inactivity. He should be in his prime and rematching Wlad by now.
It was Fury who made this fight happen. He wanted this fight for a reason. He knows something about Haye...................If he fights tall, he can win this fight, all it will take is one good punch on Haye's glass chin.
Hayes stamina has held up in fights where he's not done a lot offensively, but he's clearly not a durable guy. And with the inactivity too I think it's fair to question it.
That would be assuming everything else is exactly the same between Cunningham and Haye, which clearly it isn't.
Haye is a shapeshifter, assuming the boxing ID of Firtha, Pajkic or Cunningham, depending on the moon come fight night.
