So answer the question, If your saying Haye and Povetkin are the big draws and HBO really only wants them, why haven't they consistently shown their fights???

They are not draws on their own either. Without Povektin HBO wouldn't be interested.

Ever notice it's pretty hard to sell a fight, and the public on a fight that most see as being completely one sided, and uncompetitive? They'd be interested in this fight because of Povetkins high #2-3 ranking, Olympic and unbeaten record, which they will "hope" can sell the fight as something different then most the other complete Klitschko whitewashes. But it makes no difference as with Haye, and their hopes for him to make it competitive, you can be rated #1 or 20 and the outcomes is still gonna be the same "Klitschko dominance" Unfortunately for Klitschko HBO ran out of viable American contenders for a few yrs, so those usual mismatches became even harder to sell to the average American fan.

If that was true then why didn't HBO show Haye vs. Ruiz or Povetkin vs. Rahman :deal

Wlad needs Povektin to get back on HBO, just like he needed Haye to get back on.

Because they want to showcase an American contender against Wlad. They are interested in showing Wlad-Jennings as a headliner. They were pushing Mitchell to face either brother on HBO until Banks ruined that.

Your trolling isn't even believable anymore it is so bad.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Haye has the same amount of appearances on HBO as Manuel Charr. Get out of here with that crap.

EPIX is out of the Boxing business for the rest of 2013......

Supposedly they are doing some restructuring in management. Hopefully it is back for 2014.

That means Wlad is the draw, not Povetkin or Haye. They won't show Wlad against unknown opposition, but show his fights against the better opponents. Even his best opponents (Haye nor Povetkin) get any airtime on their own headline fights.

Hence your argument that "Haye and Povetkin are the draw, not Wlad" is complete bogus.

Provide me a link that says HBO want HBO want Wlad-Jennings as a headliner? Jennings is a no name with not even 20 fights to his name.

Haye and Charr might not get on HBO but they are not the unified HW champs of the world and supposedly a future ATG. Whats Wlads excuse?
Go back to your chin talk glass kock, no trolling from me, just facts.

I'd be surprised if Showtime gets this fight.
Showtime doesn't even have enough open dates and maybe $ to satisfy all Golden Boy's demands. Thats why Showtime didn't keep cards on the dates when BHop-Murat and Ishe-Molina fell thru. And then why GB is shopping BHop to HBO now.
The fight might not be that expensive for an American network to pick up, but, if HBO wants it I bet they can easily outbid Showtime for this.

Not surprised. US networks will show Wlad/Vitali fights if their opponent is a decent name. Haye, Povetkin, any big American fighter, etc. They will probably show it live in the afternoon and on tape delay at night.

im going for 4-7 kayo for wlad..quiet first few behind the jab (usual)then a few big rights and once they start landing sasha will either fold or try and run to a decision..

gonna go out on a limb here and say povetkin isnt good enough to do an ibragimov...dosnt have the defence, foot or head movement to run all night..
