I actually think Brook would beat Broner.

LOL.You say Brook has never looked convincing and then champion Frankie Gavin who has looked far from convincing at a lower level for much of his pro career.Brook did not break sweat domestically. His career may have hit neutral recently but you are going to look very silly very soon methinks.Start thinking of a new user name for next year:good

Don't really rate brooke too highly, but I rate broner even less. The guys obviously a decent boxer, he's a pro, unbeaten (officially) and a young talented athlete. But the money men are obviously on to something with him, he's marketable because they know people will tune in every time he fights to see if the next cherry picked opponent will have enough to end the hype job. They will carefully pick opponents until he has over 30 unbeaten fights then put him in with a credible opponent who will more than likely beat him. But its ok by then as they will have milked every penny from him by then.

Why would I make a new account because I was wrong? It's a boxing forum you weirdo, if I'm wrong - I'm wrong why would I care?

It's obvious UK bias to even suggest that Brook is close to the same league as Broner.

think they are bother over rated. Brook did OK at weekend looked sharp but and accurate but he doesnt have massive speed or power and his combinations dont seem to flow almost like he has to think for a minute b4 getting them together and his head movement is poor.

Broner has a good but not great D - Rees hit with several clean left hands Paulie land a few as well but Paule just has no power. But Broners attack is where hes lethal. Fast heavy hands and every shot in the book.

head to head id pick Broner all day he has top class looking attributes for me brook doesnt.

Now if we are talking about the top class fighters can see someone like LM, Bradley, Prodnikov, I wont say Khan cause his chin wont hold up but those top class fighters might have enought to tune broner up and that would be fatal for his career i can see him loosing once then loosing lots too much ego

Definitely don't agree with your last sentence.Lets just say Broner was Brooks next opponent, which he won't be,and Kell won.The British media would be saying that at last he'd fulfilled his promise and there was no one to beat him anywhere. They would be poo pooing a Khan fight and Mayweather would be mentioned.Even the Yanks would be impressed.
Brook is a good fighter. But there were times,I think,in the fight on Saturday when Jones fought back that I thought Kell looked ever so slightly discouraged.I also thought the stoppage was premature for a fight of that level.Compare Jones to Broner.Somebody said earlier that people are underrating him because of his personality.I wanted Malinaggi to win as if he was a British boxer, but for me Broner dominated him.Just my thoughts, but time will tell.

Brook is huge compared to Broner,he made Carson Jones look about two weight divisions below him the other night and Jones has fought up as far as Middleweight.Broner has fought nobody of Brooks size and probably nobody who punches as hard either, not that Brooks a big puncher or anything Broners record is just filled with light punchers and guys who are much smaller than him.I don't know if Brook would have enough to beat him but it would be interesting and definately competitive.

    Broner beats Brook easy imho
The hate for Broner here is being masked by feeble attempts to say that because he hasn't fought anyone of note he isn't any good. If you know anything about boxing you must know that Broner is top quality, just how good is yet to be seen obviously....Brook however is not top quality, he is above domestic level but no higher than Euro bum material for the top guys to feast on from time to time. He will get several world title shots and will come up short on each occasion sadly.

Brook has fought ****ing nobody of any note to even be worth talking about. Kid is just pure hype. Broner is overhyped as well he has fought a higher level of opponent.
