Still ain't seen the damn fight, so I can't say too much about it, but I really thought Scott could box his way round Chisora. That said, I never felt Scott could go that much further at his age and without real KO power which is pretty much a necessity at HW. Now, actually gotta find somewhere to watch the fukker:roll:
It's British officiating in general. Khan counted out against Limmond, the round cut short to save Macarinelli, COUNTLESS iffy stoppages in favour of the home fighter tonight just being the latest...it's more than incompetence alright, it's ****ing corrupt.
haha!! they should have had one of those calzaghe refs in there and the fight would been over by the third round. chisora is the better fighter but the count was embarrassing and disgraceful. typical for the sport of boxing.
Has Scott's biggest fan on here chimed in? XZYCZYRUZCXXZCZYCZZZRZCZBZCUYCZZBRZUCYZCZBZZUUUZBCYZBUZM!!!
Home Cookin'! But Scott shouldn't have cut it that close, get up at 8 whats the difference. I swear, sometimes these refs can't wait to make a big dramatic stoppage. Also, Scott didn't really protest too much.
What RightCross says is true, get up at 8 if your buying time. That being said, he beat the ****ing count. You dont count to '9' and then immediately wave your hands. I am curious if the ref stopped it due to a supposed '10' count, or waived it because he felt Malik could not continue (which would make this even more horse****). I cannot think of specific examples, but I do recall fighters getting up at '9'. Someone please help me out with some examples.
If the shoe were on the other foot, would the ref have counted Chisora out? I find it hard to believe he would. That being said, Scott clearly didn't have the will/heart . . .
