Chisora-Scott: thoughts

Which bit are you failing to understand? You have to answer a "10 count" standing up at "9.5" is answering a 10 count.

We have a "10 count" not an "8 count" remember.

 

The stoppage was **** tbh but still I can't see Scott recovering well from that and comeback and win the fight.

But it is what it is, Chisora won!

 

i am well aware of this, but i havent witnessed such a quick count - ever.!

The thing is and this is a question that would indicate whether or not this was fair , would this have happened if it was chisora?

the ref was hired by the crook w.arren and so was the time keeper. My point still stands, this was a blatant robbery. Not in the sense that scoot would definetly have won, but that he was more then able to continue. He wasnt given the chance though and we all know why.

Immediately after the knockdown,, chisora was sent to neutral - i could not have been done any faster - and yet the ref started at 4. That was way way to quick. Compare this count to more regular ones and you´d quite clearly see a difference.

exactly and that is imo solid proof, that the whole thing was orchestrated and in the event of a knock down, the count should be done swiftly so A) scott wouldnt beat the count or B: if scott was hurt, he´d be given less time to recover and therefore chisora would have a better chance to finish him.

and the same quiestion applies here, in regards to fairness, would this have happened if it was chisora?

i couldnt care less about who was winning, who won or anything that relates to the fight. My problem was and still is the awful ref.

 

count yourself..from the glove touches the canvas and the ref pushes chisora back the count is correctly at 4 and how many fights do you see with guys who just get back up at 9 1/2 fs however the ref how ever failed to see that scott was not on unsteady legs or glass eyed and was ok to continue..the ref did make a mistake regarding scotts ability to fight on but scott also has to take the blame for this..if he was just taking a count to regain his (thoughts,breath) he should have got up at 8 not 9 and a bit...

 

It's like trying to explain something to a ******ed toddler, you have to be up and walking towards the ref before 10 not standing up at his counts the 10. Hardly ****in rocket science. **** me.

 

With the KD, Chisora had evened the fight going into the stretch.

Could Scott have began boxing off the back foot, IDK......point is, he shoulda tried to continue.

It seemed to me there mustve been a rematch clause in there somewhere if he were to LOSE.

And for Scott, the guarantee of a rematch mean more dough in his pocket, and his fights havent exactly been mega paydays.

I think this all mighta been a set up considering Scott never started to show Del the jab and the the footwork that got Scott into that ring in the first place.

Malik Scott is a gymrat, so it wont be long before we fight out if the rematch is in the works.:think

Not really when Scott hasn't fought anyone of note whereas Chisora has been in with big names.

 

Nod. I do not understand how anyone can look at Scott's record and think it's any good. He still haven't been in a 12 rounder afaik.

 

Scott did seem pretty certain of a rematch.

Given how much was riding on beating Chisora, one has to think he already has something lined up given how little the outcome seemed to bother him.
