Chisora vs. Arreola: Who wins this battle???

Whenever Arreola has stepped up he losses. But you can say the same for Chisora. I don't think Del Boy was stepping up for Scott, it was the padded record Scott who was stepping up.

I lean :yep toward Chris is a slug fest - should be entertaining if they're both in good shape.

 

I'd favour Chisora to win and win easily. Hell I'd pick Scott over Arreola.

Chisora's wins over Scott and Helenius (despite what the judges thought) are better than anything on Arreola's record. Chisora also performed much better vs Vitali which also suggests Chisora is the better fighter.

Chisora has better head movement and defence, Arreola has no defense at all, he is very easy to hit, at least Chisora can slip shots. Chisora is also naturally stronger and heavier then Arreola, I think we'd see Arreola get backed up for the first time. How would Arreola cope with being forced to fight going backwards?

Arreola has the bigger punch and combinations but I don't think it would be enough and Chisora has shown he has a good chin. Chisora would force him back, work the body and grind him down and stop him late or win on points.

 

listen, AmeriCUNT. i'm not trying to make out that Chisora is all that at all. just telling the truth about how dire Arreola has proven to be. he's a fat bag of **** that the Yanks (stupidly) tried to cast off as some sort of Contender. he's not and never has been. he takes beatings from anyone with a bit of fight in them. Chisora would be no different.

Arreola would KO Chisora. He is much more a complete fighter, punches straighter and has a better chin (remember Haye KOing Del Boy?). Arreola was knocked down by Bermane but got back up and fought hard the rest of the fight.

I think if it happened Chisora would take such a severe beating he would be permanent ruined as a pro fighter.

 

chris has definitely had tougher opposition overall an is a better fighter than derrick his win aginst malik although questionable stoppage was decent not great considering the then undefeated scott had rarely fought anyone with a pulse while chris has a few losses on resume was competitive in all his worst enemy has an always will be himself,but in this match chris out class derrick imop

 

Chisora. I think he's got some nice momentum going. Arreola just smashes a few cans then gets beat by a contender.

Haye is a big puncher you idiot. a world class fighter. when he dropped Del and he got back up, Haye went for the kill. when he has his guy in trouble he's a great finisher.
could you imagine what Haye would do to Chris? it'd be like a ****ing horror movie.

Stiverne is a bum. he only looked like he had skill because Arreola is so poor. stop trying to make him out to be something on the basis that he beat Chris. a win over Chris means jack **** because he hasn't beaten ANYONE. he's Yankie hype as always.
Arreola's technique is hideous. he has NO skill. Chisora is much better. :deal

I don't know who wins Arreola v Chisora or even Arreola v Haye (would favor DH, but he'd better get him out of there early).

Arreola has called out Haye, who we all agree is better then Del Boy. Whatever you say about Chris A, if Haye agreed to a fight, Chris would be there. If Haye is so good, why didn't he agree to fight CA and blow him out? In the US or UK it would have made very good $. But Haye has been in some sort of tease semi-retirement mode since his abysmal performance vs Wlad.

At least Chisora has a chin and some stamina.

Arreola would beat Chisora..............

 

I am shocked by the number of people who are STILL over rating Arreola despite him being exposed by Stiverne. How many times does does he have to be beaten to show that?

Losses to Stiverne and Adamek should have made it clear Arreola is not world class, he's a top domestic level heavyweight only, nothing more than a US equivalent of someone like Danny Williams or Matt Skelton.

Adamek beat him and look how badly Adamek did against Vitali, Chambers and Cunningham. Stiverne was seen as nothing special prior to beating Arreola yet he dominated him. Arreola is not a top 20 heavyweight, if he was he would have beaten one by now.

Arreola has been protected his entire career, facing a string of journeymen then stepping up and getting beaten soundly each and every time. His best win to date is still Chazz Witherspoon or maybe a shot McCline who had lost 3 of the 4 previous fights and these fights were 4 years ago. Arreola hasn't beaten anyone but journeymen in 4 years yet is still seen as a world class fighter despite never beating a world class fighter.

Don't be fooled by his power, sound punching technique and exciting style. He is crude as hell. He has the fundamentals in terms of punching which makes him look much better than he is but is all other areas he is mediocre at best.

He moves his head when coming in but once he throws a punch the head movement is gone and he stays in range after throwing his shots so is easily countered. He has only one game plan, he can't counter punch, he doesn't know how to clinch and tie up an opponent, his footwork is terrible he does not know how to cut of the ring effectively like Chisora. He is predictable, jab, right hand, jab right hand, occasional double jab right hand. He sometimes throws a left hook lead but that's it when it come to punch variation for Arreola, lead right hands are non existent as is body punching, he is a head hunter.

 

I would favour Chisora in this one he's acually beaten Helenius and Scott.

 

Arreola's accurate combos, and his power, would be too much for Chisora, but it would still be a terrific fight!
