Would you be happy to see kell brook vs soto karass?

Before he fought Selcuk Aydin,I would have said no.Would have classed him as a gatekeeper.But after,IMO,winning almost every round in that one and his performance last night,he has to be a contender,a top 10 man.Also in my opinion,Matt Hatton is his best victim,so it would be a step up.I think Karrass would come to Sheffield,but I don't think Hearn would bring him.He got Kell a shot without having to fight beasts like Soto.Pity,because I think it would be great,and the kind of fight Kell should be having now.

Correction,you're right.I remember about 3 years ago,or maybe more,he was supposed to fight K9 Bundrage.I think Bundrage pulled out.Had this fight happened,I think he could well have won.In which case,wed have known whether or not he was championship quality as he'd almost certainly have got a shot years ago.Ironically,I reckon his first shot could be against Ishe Smith,who beat Bundrage for the light middle belt,I think.

 

Bundrage did not pull out, the fight never got made......Frank ****** offered the fight to Kell Brook he turned it down said, he was not ready for light middleweight division.

 

No. Not good enough. Maidana battered Karass. Kell needs to be fighting a top top welter now because its time to see how good he is. He's not a kid he's in his prime. After Senchekno he needs to step up. Karass is good but he's below the likes of Maidana, Devon etc

 

Soto Karass is a much tougher fight then Senchenko. Both their records r misleading.

 

Karass takes him to hell and back. Ability wise theres no contest but kell would become disheartened cum rd6 i think

 

Karass 2 years go was garbage and an easy nights work, but ever since the Mike Jones Robbery, he has performed well, would be Brook's toughest fight and best name on his resume.

 

He should really be on a run of 3 ropes but after hurting Maidana blew his chance and copped a stoppage but since he's kicked on really well and yes this fight would be great fun and a stern test of Brook.

Thats true.But Jones beat Karrass 2nd time around.Have always said Jones would be a good opponent for Brook.What do you think?

 

Maidana deserved the victory, Karass was on his way to being Knocked out but the ref saved him from an horrible beating. In fact the ref cost Chino the KO bonus which was on offer that night.

 

It was a even fight back and forth full of excitement. It wasn't one sided and Soto Karass had a chance to finish when he hurt Marcos in the middle rounds and didn't and Maidana did. Never said he didn't deserve the victory neither..
