Im a huge Froch fan, also a fan of George Groves and respect Adam Booth as a trainer. I just hope Groves doesn't get all ****y and disrespectful in the build up, cos in the last year or so I feel him and Booth have been acting like a right pair of c*nts, especially in certain interviews. Groves is also starting to think he has the charisma of David Haye imo. :-(
Hang on a ****ing minute people are starting to make Froch out to be some sort of ATG. The guy has plodded his way through some fringe world contenders (losing a few on the way, Dirrell, Taylor until the last minute ko) and all of a sudden he's some sort of brave warrior. Give me a break ffs. Groves owes Froch nothing.
He has fought solid opposition fight after fight, how can you state he lost to Taylor, he knocked him out. Obviously you are a bit behind on the rules of boxing. He got a close decision against Dirrel, Groves got one against Degale. He avenged a his defeat to Kessler. Plus its obvious you have never seen Froch fight if you claim he has plodded his way through some Fringe contenders. I think his bravery cannot be questioned, unlike your intelligence.
I'm sure he will, until they get in the ring and box. Then it's time to make the old warrior look a little bit silly.
They will sell the fight well, froch gives as good as he gets. The sky interview George was defending himself as froch was laying it on him
until.... the last minute ko that actually happened :hey come on thats one of his best victories yet. :good froch's looping right hand is quite underated, not super quick but accurate and powerful. done some good damage with this.
Froch has been talking **** for ages about Groves. Ironic really given how much he bitched about Calzaghe. Practice what you preach Carl.
GG does not owe froch anything, I strongly believe GG will beat froch..he has the youth, power, stamina and technical ability to outbox froch rather than going for the KO...GG would be stupid to fight fire with fire and he should outbox froch by keeping froch at long distance via the jab, similar with what he did with degale...my only concern is that froch may not respect GG's power which can end in a KO victory from the man from nottingham!
Froch's standard of world title opposition is some of the worst I've seen for a British fighter! Jean Pascal? Complete garbage with the worst of fundamentals. Jermain Taylor? Shot to smithereens and blown right up. Andre Dirrel(sp?)? Complete coward with the worst inside game around. Mikkel Kessler? Limited, basic, one-dimensional and shot to smithereens. Arthur Abraham? Limtied, basic, one-dimensional, shot to smithereens and blown right up. Glen Johnson? Limited, basic, one-dimensional, shot to smithereens and boiled right down. Lucian Bute? Incredibly weak physically, incredibly weak mentally, and never really did anything. Mack, whatever his name is? Complete and utter horse****, period. The one guy he fought who had any kind of allaround game, was natural and primed at the weight was Andre Ward, and Froch lost every minute of every round. Taylor and Dirrel(sp?) completely outboxed Froch, too, winning at least 8-9 rounds apiece. Kessler beat him clearly, and Johnson ran him close (as did a near-death Kessler again). Pascal gave him nightmares. The guy Froch is ****. Groves will win every round on the backfoot.
