    And in defense of Hanks.....the guy was genuinely overmatched. I think he must have figured he'd use his jab and beat Ruiz from the outside.

    But Ruiz also has deceptive defense, as he was able to slip and counter nearly every nice jab Hanks threw.

    I'd pick Hanks to lay Wilder down. :deal

    Wow he should be slimming down if he wants to compete at world title level but other than that he looked great.

    Welliver is all but done boxing. He's opened a new gym and has some top level talent training there.

    He's got a little girl on the way and he eats sleeps and breathes her every leap in mommas womb.

    I love Chauncey, and he could be a hella contender if he dedicated himself, but alas, he's been smitten, and boxing is no longer his love.

    He is however a young 30, and when his little girl is wanting that 15K playhouse, ole Chauncey may trim back down into the 230s and make another run. His power was coming around until he fought the imovable force, Tank Williams.:-(

    Couple problems with Ruiz. His defense is lacking, sucker for a left hook. Short arms. His punching power is only fair and he is a bit of a plodder. Hanks also busted him up some. A good jab with his short arms will be a problem.

    Glad to have him aboard, prob best we have atm.
