Based on what people see in his ability. His footwork is outstanding, he never gets hit, rarely wastes a punch, timing is outstanding, a very decorated amateur career doing things no other brit has done. I could see him being all wrong for Kell

It's not hard to look good against the rubbish he's been put up against.

People get on Kell's back but Frankie is 27 and has fought absolutely nobody of any note.

Vassell wasn't rubbish, a lot thought he would be too big for Frankie and Witter is awkward for anybody. He's only almost half of the pro fights Kell has and has had personal setbacks which he has now got over. Nobody expects Frankie to be fighting for a world title within 15 fights or so but Kell has been on the fringe for the best part of 4 years and we're still waiting for that title fight (yes I know bad luck stopped it from happening). His career has hardly been glittered with superstars itself and an over the hill witter and Denton vassell are as tougher tests as Matthew Hatton and Carson Jones who Gavin would beat with ease. Obviously you can't fully say gavin would beat brook as it's just an opinion but I don't think it's ludicrous to think he's got the ability to make Brook miss and take him at angles.

Junior Witter is a former world champion and even at his ripe old age is still a tricky customer.I think your being a little unfair to Frankie in fairness, hes on the right track.

What's the difference between Brook and Gavin? Other than their skin colour?

Brook gets all sort of **** on here for the caliber of opponents he has faced yet look at Frankie's résumé!

    Laughable the stick Brook gets.

Brook won the Lonsdale outright 4 years ago. He fought for a WBO bauble 3 yrs ago. He's been talking of World Titles since the muted fight with Jennings fell through and then got put on again 3 yrs ago. He's had 30 fights.
Gavins had 16 fights and is 3 months away from securing the Lonsdale outright. He's been a pro 4 and a half years less than Brook.

What comparison are you trying to make in terms of poor opposition?

Granted his opposition upto the Witter fight was relatively weak but he is kicking on with his career. Guarantee if in 3 years time he's still undefeated it'll be as World Champion. Hell Gavin will probably fight Jones before his 20th fight.

What a strange direction to steer the debate
