funny the OP should say that, if you look at woodhouse and coldwells twitter they are talking about, woodhouse saying "you know it makes sense #bombsaway" and coldwell saying something along the lines of "curtis trying to get me to make a fight i just wont make" so curtis is obviously pushing for a tear-up fight that you wouldnt expect, just like this match-up

 

I won't be fighting curtis am a lightweight and make weigh ok , although it would great fight for the fans

Just seen this! No me and derry won't be fighting, different weights but it would defo end up being a war! I'm hoping to have a great fight lined up for feb, it defo won't be at lightweight!!

 

This has now been confirmed, they fight at the Liverpool Olympia on the 21st September for the Commonwealth title, Liam Smith is fighting for the British Title plus Rocky Fielding,Callum Smith, Tom Stalker on the bill.

 

this will be a good fight that wont go the distance, two boxers that love to please the fans.
three words spring to mind for these two guys as a fight fan " VALUE FOR MONEY "
when you buy a ticket to watch derry or Curtis you know you are going to watch a fight, not a chess match.
would love to see tommy coyle get a shot at the winner.

 

its on!!!! delighted to get my chance, its a tough fight but style wise its a good match up, I struggle with runners and derrys no runner, this will be all out war, cant see it going 12, one of us will get taken out, sit back get the beers in and enjoy the ride! its live on sky so will get the audience I believe the fight will deserve
