I really couldn't have put it better myself.:happy..so many c o ck s on here.reason I don't bother coming on as often as I did.
if i remember right he looked good for the first 4 rounds... then started to fade badly lookin for haymakers and was off the pace big time im sure he could compete at domestic level but thats about it... he should really stay retired, but at the end of the day its upto him, if he feels he can do it who are we to judge
If he just loves fighting, why not? As long as he knows his level and makes fights accordingly. Duran was fighting in 2002 ffs, against the likes of Pat Lawlor
I actually think Hatton's comeback could have been a success if he started out at a lower level. Senchenko isn't great but he's a top Euro level competitor. I think Hatton should have faced a good domestic fighter, a fight against Junior Witter would have been perfect imo. Then, if he won that, he should have fought a few opponents of a similar level before stepping up to the likes of Senchenko. That way he could have gotten rid of the rust, got some rounds under his belt (since he did get blown by around round 5) and would have at least gotten a few wins in his comeback.
Hattons gone.. He got broken down by mayweather, destroyed by PAC, and put to rest by the Russian .. It's over
I'd like a farewell fight, wouldn't mind having the Manchester Arena bouncing one last time. I think people thought that the last comeback would be a minor success, but if we all knew it was a farewell fight - the place would be rocking!
