that would have been a big money defining fight for Zab so that automatically tells me he would find a way to lose. . . . he loses every big fight. This should be pretty common boxing knowledge by now
That's not common knowledge. It's the stuff that know-nothing fans who don't really follow the sport like to assume. Cory Spinks was a big fight. Vernon Paris was a big fight. Lucas Matthysse was a big fight. Yeah he's lost some big fights, but he's also won some pretty big ones, plus he's the last ever undisputed WW Champion.
Hatton makes him do the chicken dance the same way Tszyu did, once Super Flab inevitably gasses after 6 rounds.
Man you must be smoking crack if you think any version of Zab beats Hatton. It would be clinical and brutal. In fact, even the Senchenko version of Hatton would have beaten him easie peasie.
Spinks- went 1-1 Paris was a big fight- LULZ And no one knew who the **** Matthysse was before that fight.
My point is that Zab doesn't lose every time he has a big fight. He KO'd Spinks, which was a big fight, for the undisputed WW Championship of the world. The last one ever to this date. And whether or not everyone was all over Matthysse's nuts at that point, he still fought him and won. Paris? Yeah, that's not such a big fight, but it was a big one for him.
Ricky at his very best is nowhere near the calibur of a PRIME Miguel Cotto . People need to think about this , Zab took "Prime Cottos best punches" for "11 rnds" . Not to mention Cotto also hit him with a low blow TWICE , and yet Zab still bit down and survived and made it to the championship rnds before the ref stopped it . I always felt Zab toughness was underrated , No way someone like Hatton who is reckless and has no boxing skill stops him .
Spinks was his best win. Thats the ONE big fight I can give you. LOL @ Vernon Paris being a big fight. . seriously? Mattysse wasnt even a draw when they fought. This was not considered a high profile fight for Zab Here are the fights that really mattered. . . Kostya Tszyu - chicken dance boogie Carlos Baldomir - Was supposed to be a tune up fight before the Mayweather bout, ended up getting his ass whooped in his own backyard Floyd Mayweather, Jr. - Mentally cracked, almost got himself DQ'ed Miguel Cotto - Good hard fought match, but outgunned Joshua Clottey - How do you lose to a guy who dont even throw punches? Amir Khan - ummm . . . yea Danny GarcĂa - Damn near had another Chicken Dance session in the ring again These are BIG fights. . except for the Clottey & Boldomir fight.. all the others would have been career defining fights. . but in true Juda fashion. . he just fails at every truly meaningful fight.
