    Length of holding the title don't mean squat. Wlad defends his title against b level bums every 6 or 7 months. Holmes would have drop kicked him to hell!

    This is a legitimate point for debate, but in my eyes, Wlad and Byrd were clearly the 2 best heavyweights when they had their rematch, and that for me was good enough to constitute the start of an official new lineage.

    Watch the Byrd fight...he was using both hands...his handlers saw him about to get KO'd so they quit while they were ahead.:yep

    Holmes would have been an easy knockout for Vitali or Vlad. Hell, Renaldo Snipes put Holmes with a right hand that came from left field. Spinks beat him.
