Come on guys get realistic. Do you honestly think Canelo has a chance in this "fight" exxept by KO. As usual Floyd wont fight anywhere but Vegas where the Commission & all the officials are neighbors of his & almost family.
Can you imagine Floyd going to Mexicu City or even Texas to fight Canelo??? No way Jose field has to be heavily slanted in his favor. If Floyd is standing at the end he wins its simple as that. Best Canelo can hope for is to look good in defeat if he cannot catch Floyd & stop him running

nothing is "heavily slanted" in anyone's favor when you step in the ring
ironically, fighting in vegas as the poster child of showtime has given him much more wealth, on top of the recognition, than any other sportsman around...easily

people like you will wake up one day and realize how rare it is someone like Floyd comes along, and that through all this whining and making excuses you should have been just happy you were around to see him fight

I havent seen Mayweather run in forever. what he does is called boxing. running is what DLH did against Trindad, so u got Mayweather confused bro.

Fight will be exciting because Canelo at some point will hit Mayweather and mayweather will feel it. Probably hardest puncher hes ever faced. plus Canelo will bring it like nobody else. 13 years younger and hungry. even if Mayweather wins 8-4 I think it will be an exciting fight

Well it will be exciting to see the hype slowly being exposed. Canelo is in for an education.

Mayweather will be toying with him for the first 5 rounds and give him that shoulder roll. After the 5th round Canelo will be gassed and flat footed, Floyd then will look to counter every soft punch Canelo throws.

I think it will be tentative rather than boring. Each guy has a relatively low output and for much of the Trout fight, Canelo didn't give Trout much oppertunity to counter (didn't rush in, slipped a lot of shots) so it'll be interesting to see what tactics he will employ vs Mayweather. I'm not sure if he can out-slick Mayweather like he did Trout but not sure if he can outwork him either (like Castillo and DLH had some success doing) due to his questionable stamina. It'll be intriguing and not boring I'm pretty sure

    Why should he go anywhere?
    1) He's the top dog, challenges should go to him.

    2) There is more money to be made in Vegas than anywhere else except maybe Macua in the future. The revenue brought in by a Super fight in Vegas is second to none. Super fights belong in Vegas today. Backed up by the record gate.

    - I know what about 50K fans, the tickets don't cost as much and the profit is offset by having to hire enough people to handle the crowd.

So if you want to imagine Floyd going to these places you can enjoy, but understand it would not be anywhere near the financial success a fight like this makes in Vegas. This is a money game.

I think Mayweather will come out getting the jump on Canelo, outshining him until about the 4th maybe 5th round, it takes awhile for Canelo to adjust when he does, he will start to time Mayweather and close the gap on him, mixing up poshing him on the ropes and bringing it back in the center of the ring. Canelo will beat Mayweather from the round he starts to adjust to the championship rounds where it will be tic for tate

I also heard Canelo is already 156lbs in camp.

    Canelo by Split Decision.
