People like to knock Price after what's happened to him this year, instead of getting behind him.

You have to respect his honesty. I really hope he can rebound from it and turn it around for himself.

Price is easily the most likable British heavyweight.

Really honest interview by Price, good to see. Hope he has a couple domestic fights to gain his confidence back then maybe a Malik Scott ( not a big hitter but a good name for the record and will make Price work) wish the big man all the best!

    any ideas on his exhaustion?

could it just be simple overtraining?

I like Price but, he really needs to scrap his trainer and promoter. They've messed his career up with picking a fight that was too far against Thompson twice and bad preparation for said fight.

After beating Skelton, he should really have gone up against somebody like Hamer, Sosnowski or Sprott. A tough opponent who will give him a fight but won't really pose a threat. Then... after getting past them, Malik Scott would have been the perfect next opponent. After that, I think he would have been more ready to step in with the likes of Thompson.

He really lacks confidence. He always did. He was being touted as a Klitschko opponent but kept putting it off "i need 2 more years". Getting banged out so much in the vests really affected this guys confidence. Now hes got no confidence in his stamina and he doesn't even believe he will be a heavyweight champion. SERIOUS mental issues.

to me it sounds like he had a serious bout of the flu or chronic fatigue or something.... never really thought over training would have you dying on your arse after 2 rounds, but im just second guessing really as it doesnt seem he had any of the other symptons or talked about any

hope he comes back,, win the lonsdale belt outright and then get some rounds in the belt against some solid euro level comeptetion,,, just hope hes not rushed up the ladder with people tryin to cash out on him

think the klits bros are defo out of his reach now, by the time he gets back upto that level vitali would of retired and wlad will be on his way out,, if he could get some sparring and be around a camp with them in the future that would be brilliant for him cos they always seem like the model professions when it comes to training, both mentally and physically

Chronic fatigue is something pretty serious - if he was affected by that he'd still be suffering from it now.

It probably was overtraining - overtraining can drain you pretty badly; you just feel lethargic with no energy. You normally need a week or two off to get you back to your senses, and as he was training right up to the fight he wouldn't have had that option.

Pricey is a really nice guy and would have loved to have seen him go on .but if you look at it he has no ring IQ, appears to have a bad chin and quite low self confidence - This don't bode well for the future
