When people talk about hypothetical dream matches Chavez-Duran at lightweight would be right at the top for me. I couldn't pick a winner out of them two.

I usually go Duran because he boxes more. But Chavez would be Duran's hardest test at lightweight. A test that has a equal left hook of Duran and DeJesus, a little slower, but hit equally as hard and always threw in combination.

I think Duran wins ofcourse but, only because he is clever as well as tough.

    You were not impressed ?

I thought it was as clinical a performance as I`ve ever seen by a pressure fighter, he landed over 60% of his punches vs a legit world class champion.

That version of Chavez ranks with any fighter in history p4p.

Basically, Julio had too much strenght for Edwin to handle, and that was the key to the fight. No need for a rematch.
