Great opportunity for Theophane, likely his last chance.

Cano is a gate keeper just does enough to loose against the best but hes fit has a bit of pop and comes to fight. Ashley will need to fight smart to win this one

! Get in. Needs to put ina good shift. That # IBF bollox and all the self-promotion severely back-fired. Nice bloke but needs to prove the so called potential.

Cano is better than that for me.

He was unlucky not to get the decision vs Malignaggi in his last fight, he's fringe top 10.

Great opportunity for Theophane one of the most improved fighters out there. Have a lot of time for Ashley the Treasure Theophane.

It will be good to see this fight and to see if Ashley was just bored at domestic level, he always seemed to think he deserved more. Also I've seen that Anthony Agogo is on the bill too.

I wander how much bigger this will make Theophanes' already inflated ego?

The man has got to be one of the most deluded boxers around. Hes not a bad fighter but he certaintly isnt the world beater he always claims to be

That's how I looked at him, he was always claiming he was world class but when I watched him boxing on our shores I never really go the hype. This fight should tell us a bit more about his aspirations and abilities at fringe world class.

I think you can probably find better than Cano in the top10.

he got beat up by the shell of Morales and couldnt beat an aging Shane. He does just enough to loose against faded fighters
I actually think Cano V Brook would have been a decent fight at 147 but Brook seems to going up in weight now

Paulie is slipping now probably only got another couple of years left..

    Good 50/50 for me

Theophane has been offered world oppurtunities before and turned them down he's admitted that himself.

Hes a good slick fighter but sometimes i question wether his heart is really in boxing or wether he just enjoys being the ladies man playboy.

In all fairness i think he was unlucky to lose his title to Hamilton but what has he done since?

Fair enough he ran Garcia tough, but he also received a gift in his best ever official W (D-Rod), and his second best (Chop) was very close...not to mention a sloppy mess, thanks to Theophane.

He is more finessed and polished than Cano but I don't think you can safely peg him as higher class, looking at some of his losses. His style troubled Garcia at that stage of Garcia's development but you can't read into that Ash being elite when his domestic adventures have been a mixed bag.
