When he was fighting Castillo and his corner realized the fight was close, they instructed him to go out there int he 11th round and stand his ground and Floyd went out there and did exactly that.

He stood his ground and fought Castillo right in the pocket and try to out muscle him despite being out weighed by almost 10 pounds

If Alvarez is winning after 9 rounds, Floyd is winning after 12.

If Alvarez could knock floyd down in 2 rounds, he could be up on points.
I am team Mayweather all the way, I just wanted to know what everyone thinks.
If floyd were forced to brawl to save his 0, would his accuracy and defense serve him as well in an all out war? In other words can floyd trade and come out on top?

Floyd would step it up for sure. When he's in danger he takes it up three notches. Like when Shane tagged him he made sure Shane paid for it the rest of the fight. Canelo wont be as rambunctious after 9 rounds and if Floyd feels he is losing, he will step it up 6 notches. Dude doesnt play in there. Yes Floyd can engage in a tactical slugfest with Canelo and win. Canelo aint nearly as smart as Floyd. Now if Duran was up on Floyd after 9, its game over for Mayweather. Canelo aint Duran.
