IF he has to fight Thompson a 3rd time he'll be able to make the quick turnaround. Otherwise I highly doubt it.

 

Boytsov gets a new promoter and now he gets put number one by the WBO for beating no one. Man Wlad has Boytsov put number one, Wlad makes me sick fighting bums like Boytsov. I hope povetkin beats the hell out of Wlad. Boxing is so corrupt. Wlad needs to fight the winner out of Pulev vs Thompson or either Fury vs. Haye. Boytsov has not earned a title shot. I''m glad he is overlooking Povetkin. He wont be able to fight in December due to the cuts he will geet in his fight with Povetkin.

 

Will be shocked if true. Think they will most likely save that for next year.

This premise makes sense promotion-wise and could be sold easily, guys. So yes, I can see this fight happen in Dec.

 

After a beating a highly touted opponent Wlad would usually drop back a notch. Boytsov fits this scheme perfectly.

 

Good point, although in this case it'd be a bit of a shame because I think Boytsov had (and if he got things in his career straightened out and got back in shape) the ability to earn a title shot legitimately. For some reason that bothers me more than the typical easy top 25 defesne

 

Vlad mentioned a possible fight with Wilder. Wilder would also be a good fight for Vitali before he retires. Wilder could not compete with Vlad in sparring for the Wach fight. He could not land his right hand either. Vitali or Vlad by knockout!!!!!!!

Haye already had his chance atleast Povetkin and Pulev-Thompson winner should be first

I don't have information about Boytsov but I disagree that Haye or Fury deserve a shot right now. Haye has been so inactive for the past 2 years while Fury refused to fight Pulev for the final eliminator. On the other hand Pulev waited for almost a year before he can get a chance to fight and become the mandatory challenger. For that reason I think the winner of Thompson vs Pulev should be next in line.

Btw what would be the situation with the winner of Thompson vs Pulev? Whoever wins, would he be able to fight in other bouts before the title shot?

 

Pretty shitty that Wlad is looking for a 3rd fight this year and yet Vitali hasn't fought once by his own doing.

Vitali wanted to fight but the WBC told him he had to wait on the Stiverne-Arreola winner which was delayed 3 times. That is why he hasn't fought.

 

thats a good thing wlad keeping himself busy. If hes facing a top contender again then wow, but i think it'll be an unranked contender we never heard of, but its a keep busy fight so good on him but we dont wanna see too many of these.

Im glad Wlad is facing Povetkin though and im starting to become a supporter, i think we will miss the klitschkos when they retire we will realize the craftsmanship and skill of both fighter, two greats,
