A former NFL practice squad level guy who was able to get a win over tough Sherman Williams, he got another good win tonight over a fellow undefeated though unhearalded. Good news: At 6'5, in shape, natural athlete, undefeated Bad news: Already 31 I have never seen him fight. Could he get to Michael Grant level starting out so late?
A bit rough, somewhat sloppy and off balance. He'll be fun to watch and make it as a lower level contender but never hit it at the top. Maybe he'll be " a poor man's Seth Mitchell".
No, but good thread. He's working with Al Haymon according to boxrec. Good find. What a terrible boxing nickname though. El Gallo Negro (The Black Rooster)? How about just El Negro, Negro, or The Black ****. I would at least chuckle, instead of be annoyed at such a shitty name.
Saw his fight against Williams and he is extremely averege. Slow and predictable. I don't know what was wrong with Williams that night cause honestly I think he didn't even try to win.
since he was in the NFL he should be ready for a title shot. All the good Heavyweights are in the NFL we have been told.
