If Marquez is P4P number 1, then surely you would favor him over Mayweather in a fight considering they fight in the same division.

Ward makes Floyd appear downright active and his recent wins can be picked apart even more so than Floyd's.

Duran also is arguably is more accomplished and has a better resume than Hearns. Marquez, isn't more accomplished, doesn't have a better resume, and isn't as talented as Mayweather. There's no logical argument for labeling him a better fighter than Mayweather.

Well you don't seem to be a smart dude if you question Floyd mayweather being at the pinacle of the sport.

He's the man to beat and he's been that way since he was like 22 years of age.

It's really not debatable who has the better resum. Even recent résumé, Mayweather takes that. Marquez has Pacquiao, but Mayweather has Marquez, along with Hattton ,Hoya, Mosley, and Cotto. If you're actually going to dispute that Mayweather is more talented than Marquez them you're crazy. Did you not see the fight between the two? Marquez lost every round. He was totally outclassed and landed less than 70 punches throughout the fight. You do not get dominated over 12 rounds in that matter by a fighter you're more talented than.

If Pacquiao is the greatest fighter of this age, then why did he get knocked out by a guy Mayweather toyed with? And if Mayweather is too big for Marquez than wouldn't he be too big for Pacquaio? Anyway, this is a silly argument. There's good reason than Marquez isn't on top of any P4P list. You're certainly entitled to your opinion though, no matter how unpopular it is.

So what is it that Mayweather is doing that makes him No. 1. Out of his recent run of opponents all of them have been beaten by other fighters and in most cases in a much more decisive manner.

As I pointed out earlier P4P is not based on your entire career it is based on who are the ten best boxers today.

    The top 4 is easy.

    1) Floyd
    2) Wlad
    3) Ward
    4) Marquez

Although Andre's at risk of falling out of my rankings due to inactivity if he can't get a fight scheduled by fall, he's back on it once he fights again.

Why did Mayweather give the guy who fought him toughest an immediate rematch and did not require that opponent to wait around for 4 year or weight chase to secure it?

Then how is it that Floyd who won every round against him and knocked him down isn't p4p n#1?

This guy probably said before each of these fights floyd would be in for a toug fight, like most. He wins easy then it becomes cmon man he was cherry picked bla bla lol. Soon as floyd schools canelo it'l be he picked canelo before he was ready lol. End of the day he beats the men in front of him, that's all he can do. If floyd had a promoter there'd be no moaning at floyd for 'cherry picking', people don't realise he don't cherry pick he just goes for the guy who offers the most money at that time, is it his fault so many bums get hyped up to be able to beat him??
