Check out the natural talents of this kid..the blazing speed, the confidence in the ring, the left hook that can be thrown any which way with power and to top it off, he finished the fight with his right hand. Nonito is just 25, still getting better..needs to keep his guard up..he gets too excited ..hes an aggresive fighter and can get a little wild.. that was two years ago though

everyones impressed with this kid way before Mijares turned up in the radar by beating Arce..

Damm hes insanely fast. Talks od donaire-calderon, imo donaire would murder him. p4p hes better.

IMHO hes as fast as PAC at 122... He stands toe to toe...confident that his punches arrive faster little cocky to a point..and watching this video..he does beat you to the punch..no setup no nothing..just plain Ill hit you before you hit me..thats speed. All power shots

The only problem with Nonito is his bad habit of keeping his hands down but he was alot better against Maldonado..shows improvement

 

This fight needs to happen, it would be great. Mijares has the size, defense, better jab and better footwork. Donaire is more accurate, has more power, a great counter right hand, and has very good hand speed, it is very underrated.

 

You forgot Donaires main weapon..
the most versatile left hook in the business..short, long, upper, lead, counter, KO power:good

Like I said, his defensive problem stems from carrying his hands too low..he's tightening it up as we speak...

 

Anything with Amsterham getting gone needs to happen.

Amsterdam i have to say i agree with you. Donaire isn't on the same level as Donaire, and won't beat him. Montiel is better IMO then Donaire also.

 

He is a good fighter, but he looks pretty stiff. He doesn't put his combinations together, doesn't use an effective jab to dictate pace. He often times throws one punch at a time.... Mijares is the more well rounded fighter IMO, technically superior. Donaire is probably the more athletic, but it won't matter IMO should they fight. Mijares by Wide UD.

He does have good natural ability though, i will give you that.

Well it seems Donaire may be taking on Montiel next and Mijares Munoz. Should both win, what do you think is the most likely matchup next for both? Whoever wins between both guys would definetely have entry to top 10 p4p. 2 filipino's in the top 10 p4p, that should be interesting.
