Will the WBA sanction this as a title fight? Boxrec have removed the title on the fight listing. personally, i think this is a good decision. Soliman does not deserve another title shot. Winner of this to face Kessler next for the title.

Does that mean Mundine can lose....and still defend his title against Kessler ;-)

Yeah, Sammy deserves the pay day if the fight had in fact been in fully in the works. Only reason I'm not on the "Cancel the fight and take on Kessler" bandwagon at the moment... though part of me does think this farce of a fight should be canned still...

Sammy doesn't deserve a SMW-titleshot atm... and the fact that Mundine has beaten him twice before - the last one without any question just makes this fight even worse...

Sadly it's actually a step up for Mundine since ... well since the last time they fought - sadly Sammy has faded a lot since then... this fight is a joke - rematch-clause or not...

I feel if you beat the Champ you should win the title if its over 12 rounds. or if Mundine loses the title should become vacant and Soliman becomes the #1 Contender

Most probably will be sanctioned because it will just mean more money for the WBA. And what is Kessler going to do? Sit on the sidelines for the next 6 months?

There's plenty of guys down in Argentina looking for a belting.

Maybe he should have used Miranda as a tune up fight the same way Choc is using Soliman. I honestly don't think Choc cares whether it's sanctioned or not because he just wants another hitout between now and October.

Edison Miranda is anything but a tune up.
